How we price work, how the quote process runs, and what's always included in the number you see.
Most jobs are quoted as a fixed price once we've seen the work. We'd rather take an hour to do a proper survey and give you a number you can rely on than guess from a photo and surprise you later.
Smaller property maintenance jobs — a tap reseat, a sticking door, a length of guttering — are sometimes priced by the half-day or day, where that genuinely works out cheaper for you than padding a fixed quote with contingency.
For decorating, we price per room or per elevation, with paint specification and prep itemised so you can compare us like-for-like against another quote. For gardening, regular rounds are priced per visit; one-off tidy-ups are quoted as a fixed job.
Phone, email or the contact form. A few sentences and a couple of photos is usually enough to get started.
For anything bigger than a quick fix, we come out and look properly. No hard sell. Most quotes for typical jobs come back within 2–3 working days.
You see exactly what the price covers — labour, materials, prep, protection, disposal. No 'extras' showing up later that should have been on the quote.
Once you give the go-ahead we confirm dates in writing. We'll re-confirm the week before with arrival time.
We walk the work with you at the end, sort any snags on the spot, then send the invoice for bank transfer.
